type='text'>In order to collaborate, you&amp;#39;ll need an organi...</title><content type='html'>In order to collaborate, you&amp;#39;ll need an organization that is receptive to it.  You need leadership and culture who both want to share information &lt;b&gt;and&lt;/b&gt; work together.  You really need a champion at a very high level who has a focus on organizational level collaboration, in order to make this stick.  You need to go above the department level.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One specific thing I&amp;#39;ve seen work is have an organizational level (portfolio) Kanban.  It was in a common area where all departments could see where their projects were in the value stream. How do you facilitate the entire organisation collaborating? What kind of events, forums or organisational change can help? Right now in my situation departmental walls are pretty high and I can see a lot of time is being wasted by not working together.
